SageLink Credit Union offers multiple Overdraft Transfer Options including Transfer from Shares, Transfer from Line of Credit, & Overdraft Privledge.
Overdraft Transfer from Shares protects you when a transaction amount is not available in the specified account but is available in another account. For a nominal fee the amount is transferred from the available funds account into the transaction account, saving you from the embarrassment of a declined transaction.
Overdraft Transfer from Line of Credit is very similar to the Transfer from Shares, however the transferred funds come from a Line of Credit not a share savings or additional checking.
Overdraft Privilege Protection (ODP) is a product developed to save our members the embarrassment and costly aggravation of a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) check or online payment. ODP is activated after the other methods of overdraft protection have been exhausted. You'll pay for ODP only when you use it. When enrolled in ODP program, SageLink Credit Union will honor or pay the overdraft check or payment as long as the payment and ODP fee, together, do not exceed your ODP limit and balance, if any. If you should exhaust the ODP limit, remaining checks and payments will be returned as NSF.
ODP is not a contractual agreement. Honoring or paying using ODP is at the sole discretion of the credit union and may be withdrawn at any time. Contact Us for more details.
